By becoming a partner and helping us achieve our goals of drowning prevention, you will be saving lives and making a huge impact on our kids futures. Being a partner means that you will be apart of the SwemKids family; our partners can help in a variety of ways, such as, giving, advocacy, and service.

Partnership Options

Giving

Our partners support goes beyond money and includes capacity building, network building, and movement organizing. We work with our Partners, Black and underrepresented communities most impacted by the issues we address, to change lives and give scholarships to kids.

Advocacy

Our toolbox is expanding to move money and power through collective advocacy and activism. We work with community-based partners to identify opportunities for systems change. We believe that water safety should be apart of our children's curriculum in Georgia. We train and organize our Partners to lead on advocacy initiatives when appropriate.

Service

SwemKids designs learning journeys with our Partners that include training and events that deepen our understanding of how to shift power and resources. We also work with our Partners to create action plans to share their time, talent, and wealth.

We Are On A Mission

To change the thinking around swimming from being just a leisure activity and have parents and administrators start thinking of swimming as a lifesaving skill that all children must have

Drownings are the leading cause of death in children under the age of 4 years old and Georgia is the second highest state in the Southeast for drownings. Drownings are preventable, and they are preventable by providing access to pools and opportunities for everyone to obtain the life-saving skill of swimming and water safety knowledge.

That’s why the SwemKids model is so important. We believe that if all children have access to learn swimming as a part of their school’s curriculum that more drownings will be prevented and that the relationship with water can be positively affected in all communities. Join us in sharing this vision with state leadership and let’s bring the freedom of swimming to all!

Becoming a Sponsor:

Sponsors are immensely important to our success as a non-profit. As a sponsor you give a kid who would otherwise not have the resources for learning how to swim the opportunity to learn how to swim for free.

Donation :

We invite you to sponsor a student in your community or at your local school with an introductory gift of $100-$5,000. This will ensure that we can pay for all the resources and training for a kid to learn how to swim for free.

Making a Difference:

As a sponsor you will be updated on each and every student’s success in the program and get to see our kids growth and confidence build through the power of swimming.
